Details:
Crochet has been making a very fashionable resurgence with all of the fun colors and textures of yarn. In this class you will learn about proper hook tension as well as learn how to read patterns. You will start off by making a scarf and then move on to a hat. If you have been wanting to learn or tried but gave up, or you even have some experience already, this class will build your skills and confidence in the art of crochet. Each session allows you to work on different projects. (Supply list provided at registration).
Supply list for crochet students
Susan Bates aluminum crochet hooks are best, they won’t break, and can be bought as sets for approximately $10 at craft stores, or any basic set of hooks.
Any medium weight yarn the student is interested in using, for example, you will need a minimum 300 yards to complete a hat.
