    707793 - Portland Rose Festival's Grand Parade

    707793 - Portland Rose Festival's Grand Parade

A cherished highlight of the Portland Rose Festival, the Grand Parade is a spectacular floral-filled tradition that goes back over 100 years. The parade travels well over 4 miles through Portland, but we will be enjoying one of the best kept secrets, that of comfortable, climate-controlled reserved seating inside the Memorial Coliseum. You don't miss any of the action because every all-floral float is specially-designed to fit through the giant doors of the Coliseum, and marching bands are excited to play for the first people they see. Not only will the entire parade march through the venue but we will also be part of the Queen's Coronation and the Grand Floral Walk. Your assigned seat awaits you, complete with amenities of concessions and inside restrooms. After the parade, we will travel to the International Rose Test Garden at Washington Park to view and tour the roses. There is a small gift shop bursting with Rose City souvenirs. Bring money for food and snacks and a picnic lunch to eat at the park. Fee includes van transportation and reserved seating ticket.
